🛣 During this event, three unique locations will appear on the global map — Greenwood Camping Park, Quarantine Zone, and Frozen Training Ground. There, you'll find abandoned places – points on the map, connected by roads. You will get to explore them as well as collect resources and special items, while overcoming various obstacles and fighting zombies. Those locations will become permanent, starting from update 1.47.0.
🏍 You will need your chopper to explore those territories, as you won't be able to reach them by foot. Be careful: the roads are full of zombies! Make sure to check, repair, and fill your bike up before you leave. You won't be able to transport crates with resources out without a working vehicle. Not to mention, it's simply impossible to survive in those parts without a bike.
🏕 Your main objective is to scout abandoned places in those territories, such as the Medical Center, Camping, and others. You can find three main types of resources there: food, medical supplies, and tools. Explore points of interest to find them. When you collect everything you need, move on to the next spot.
⚙️ You can exchange the resources and items you collect for Scout's Reputation at the Gas Station, thus unlocking new rewards and bonuses. Next to it, you'll find the Black Market, where you'll get to choose your own reward. Remember to upgrade your bike at the Mechanic's. Also, from the moment those locations appear, you'll be able to transport crates with resources from there to your home location and cut them open with a buzzsaw to claim all the loot inside.
⛓️ Install special equipment that improves your chopper's specs. That'll make things easier. You can craft it in the Garage at your home location
🧩 What you'll get to do
1. Prepare your bike and ride it to an event location of your choosing.
2. Explore the abandoned places.
3. Collect resources, transport crates with resources out on a bike, avoid or fight enemies, and move on.
4. Go to the Gas Station and exchange your loot for reputation. Select the rewards you want in the Black Market.
5. Collect your rewards from the Scout and go back to the locations.
🔧 Equipment and chopper upgrades
• Special equipment for your chopper (Off-Road Chains, GPS, Reinforced Frame, and more) can be crafted in the Garage at your home location.
• You need to upgrade the Garage to unlock new recipes. You can acquire blueprints for Garage upgrades in the Genesis Collection.
• Upgrading your bike will directly affect how successfully you will complete the event. Unlike the character's inventory, event items stack in the chopper's inventory. The inventory's capacity and other bike specs can be improved at the Mechanic's at the Gas Station.
❓ Where's my chopper?
Your bike is displayed on the mini map (motorcycle icon).
❓ What will happen if I die in the Greenwood Camping Park, Quarantine Zone, or Frozen Training Ground?
You'll go back to your home base.
⚠️ Please note: if you die, you will lose all the contents of the chopper's trunk. You can avoid it by installing a beacon on your bike. But keep in mind that it works for a limited amount of time – 4 hours.
❓ What do I do with crates of resources?
Lift the crate you found, load it onto the chopper's trunk, take it to the Gas Station, and put it on the pallet next to the Scout. It'll bring you lots of reputation. You can also take the crate with resources to your home location, saw the lock off using a buzzsaw, and claim all the loot inside.
The "Scouting" event is a real challenge, where each trip is unique. Only a well-prepared biker will be able to collect rare resources, earn reputation, and make a name for themself on the roads.
The key to this race for survival is not speed, it's preparation. Fill up your bike and grab the necessary equipment — that way, the new lands won't seem so dangerous.
