Nature is healing, we've seen it for the past 7 years. New species of fauna have begun to roam everywhere. Is human still the most powerful creature in the Wasteland? We'll find out very soon.

The event is available if you've completed the first few chapters of the Survivor's Path and if your character has reached level 30

Residents of the Hunting Grounds will be happy to show and tell you everything. The purpose of this event is to study the habits and track down wild creatures. For some time you practice on ordinary animals, and after completing all the tasks you get the chance to hunt a unique one. You do all this with a special weapon at the ready, which is made at a workbench nearby. Resource for this purpose, called abrasive, can be found in the cave next to the workbench (however, the cave is not accessible in its entirety all at once!). As soon as the Hunting Grounds location is renewed according to the timer indicated on the global map, a new abrasive will appear in the cave.

You need to kill animals only with hunting weapons, otherwise you will damage the animal's skin and will not receive trophies. Even one shot from a standard gun is enough to ruin the hunt. In exchange for trophies, you'll receive reputation points. Reputation (in the form of collections of unusual samples) is also available for purchase in the game shop.

If you forget what to do next, the diary (a new button in the upper right corner of the screen) will always tell you, do not forget to check it. As in previous events, some items (they are marked with a special icon) will only be available during the event itself and will disappear afterwards.

❓ I don’t have the “Hunter's Instinct” event / There are no Hunting Grounds on the map!

Have you already checked the version of the game and tried visiting other locations on the global map? If so, please note that this event has its own requirements. It is available if you have completed the first few chapters of the Survivor's Path and if your character has reached level 30.

❓ I can’t go further into the cave / Invisible barrier in the cave

The entire cave isn't available for exploration just from the get go. You can go further into the unknown (and get the remaining abrasive) a little later, during one of the tasks to hunt a unique animal ;)

❓ How to use bear traps (traps for all animals)?

During missions, sooner or later, you'll need to catch animals in a bear trap. This device can be created through the crafting menu.

Next, the bear trap (any animal can be caught in this trap, not just a bear) must be placed in the slot for an additional item in the character’s inventory.

Well, then everything is like in real life – you need to set a trap (or, you know what, a couple of traps, even!) in the path of the animal. And, creeping up to the animal from the other side, scare it in the direction you want. But, as in so called real life, the bear trap does not know what it got - the hoof of an unsuspecting innocent deer or your own dear foot. And alas, it will work in both cases. So take your time, and first of all, slooowly move away from the trap in the opposite direction.

❓ Hunting missions are not counted as completed! / I don’t understand what is required in the task

Remember that you need to complete tasks with a special hunting weapon. If you need to sneak up on an animal and kill it, then you need to do this with a melee hunting weapon.

Deer and alligators can be hunted down or baited. If you're lucky, you might find bloody traces or a special place for bait (marked by a stick rising from the ground).

Some tasks will require hunting in specific weather conditions, such as rain or fog. There is no way to trigger certain conditions - you just need to visit the same place again and again until luck is on your side.

❓ Where is the sample container located? / Unable to use a sample container

The sample container is located in the Hunting Grounds.

To use it, you must first collect all the rewards for completed tasks in the Hunter's Diary. Click on the image with the reward to take it. Completed tasks are marked in green.

Have a good hunting!
