Old Heim is a long-standing Viking settlement that was abandoned after the attack of Hel's servants. For immortals, especially those not too experienced, this is a great source of loot, resources, and equipment. You can also find skald Cormac's notes there and learn the story of the fall of Midgard.

You can also find the defenders' talismans in Old Heim. The Scout in Old Heim will exchange them for additional rewards.
